Just a quick update from the team to say thank you and let you know what’s been happening recently thanks to your support.
Over the past few months, we’ve made some improvements that are already having a big impact. We recently installed a new squeeze system that lets us handle horses more safely and efficiently for vet checks, vaccinations, and haltering. This has reduced stress for both the animals and the people working with them, which is a big step forward.
We’ve also seen incredible progress with the horses in our care. One horse arrived after spending months in holding – nervous, underweight, and unsure of everything. Now, just a short time later, he’s healthier, calmer, and building trust day by day. Stories like his are what keep us going.
Another success is one of our newer mares, who has began her training journey. She’s learning to ride and gaining confidence with every session. It’s slow work, but these small wins mean everything.
Looking ahead, GlobalGiving’s Bonus Day runs from 10AM EDT on July 16 to 10AM EDT on July 17. Donations of $100 or more during that window get matched on a tiered scale—early giving helps secure a better match. There’s no pressure, but if you were thinking about giving again or sharing our work, that’s a great time to do it.
