Help Save Primates and their Habitat

Dear Friend,

 We hope you and your family are all doing well. This year although a difficult one, we have been fortunate to be able to continue with a number of our project activities and we would love to share with you some of our most notable milestones:

• We have been able to deliver quality rescue and respond to 100 different primate emergencies such as vehicle-primate collisions, primate electrocutions, monkeys kept as pets, rescue orphan/abandoned infants, and victims of abuse.
• Conducted our Annual Primate census with the help of the staff team and local volunteers. The population trends enable us to assess how effective our mitigations are and are important for wildlife management.
• We have been able to continue providing food, water, enrichment, and medical care to 16 primates currently undergoing rehabilitation at our center. The infants have been moved from the nursery cage and have been fully integrated with the big troop in the main rehab enclosure.
• We are happy to have been able to conduct our education workshops with local primary schools. We managed to have 400 pupils from 14 local schools. In addition, they were each gifted with a tree plant and nurture in school throughout their school lifetime
• We were awarded 1st place in the Netfund Green Innovations Award in the category of Environmental education and awareness for our outstanding efforts.
