As we close the month of January, our hearts are full of gratitude. Because of your generosity, Scotty’s has been able to provide consistent food, essential medicine, and fair wages to our staff—three pillars that make safety, dignity, and healing possible for the women and children in our care. Your support did not just meet needs; it restored stability and hope during a critical time.
January marked a strong and promising start for Scotty’s. Every day, we are learning, adapting, and growing—building systems that put care, accountability, and compassion first. This intentional pace matters deeply to us. We are committed to never stretching our resources so thin that the women and children already at Scotty’s are anything less than fully supported. Because of you, they are nourished, cared for, and surrounded by people who are present and paid for the vital work they do.
Looking ahead, we are excited and hopeful. If all continues to move forward as planned, we will begin welcoming additional women and children toward the end of February. We do so thoughtfully, guided by the same principle you help make possible: quality of care over quantity.
Thank you for believing in this mission, for standing with us, and for being an essential part of every life changed at Scotty’s. Your impact is real, and it is felt every single day.
