Join us in breaking the cycle of poverty, one child and one school at a time. Support ACE schools today and help create a brighter future!
Govandi faces extreme poverty, illiteracy, and poor health, worsened by Mumbai's largest dumping ground. Life expectancy is 20 years lower than nearby areas, and its Human Development Index ranks among the country's lowest. Fragile education foundations stem from widespread illiteracy and limited pre-primary access for children aged 3-5
In partnership with the local government, we will upgrade and jointly operate a school that radically reimagines learning. In this school, students will learn through real-world problem solving, project-based learning and play-based pedagogy. Our school will enable students to be dreamers, critical thinkers, and changemakers. We will achieve this through continuous educator development programs, strong curriculum, partnerships to unlock new opportunities, & strong teaching practice shifts.
So far, we have impacted more than 150,000 schools and hand-held 100 schools on their journey to transformation through school leader and teacher capacity building. Now we leap to bring our Dream school to reality and create it as a Model of Public-Private Partnership to serve children from disadvantaged backgrounds. By fostering 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving, we aim to shape leaders who drive economic growth and innovation.
