Helping Bali's Mothers & Children Thrive

Dear Friends,

This past quarter has been an encouraging one for our work with vulnerable mothers and children in Bali. Thanks to the generosity of our community, our Giving Tuesday fundraiser in early December was a success. Together, 61 donors contributed $17,617, and GlobalGiving provided an additional $2,477 in matching funds, bringing the total impact to $20,094. This support directly strengthens our ability to provide nutritious food packages, free medical check-ups, and essential vitamins to families who need them most.

While Bali’s poverty rate remains relatively low at 3.8%, the reality is that even mild malnutrition can put mothers at risk of complications during childbirth and limit healthy growth in children. Over the past three months, our midwives and outreach team continued delivering eggs, rice, vegetables, and vitamins to families, along with ongoing prenatal and general health check-ups. These services ensure both immediate nourishment and early intervention, helping families stay healthy and connected to care.
