CHHASE, our staff and our beneficiary are thanking you for your timely education support to help for the under privileged Children education, tribal meal program, new dresses, school kits, uniforms and school fee. Because of your generous support, we are able to keep girls / tribal children without starvation
Renuka’s story:
My name is Renuka. I am 15 years old. I live with my father, mother and one elder sister. We ae from tribal family and we live in a hamlet. My father is a casual labor doing daily wage work like brick making, wood cutting, working in rice mill Etc. Due to casual labor work, my father always migrating very often. Due to the migration my school going stopped and I am eager to go to school, play, and wear good clothes like other children. My father is unable to provide even regular meals daily. Mostly we were hungry.
During my father migration, we have come to the village of CHHASE after school centre. One day I saw many tribal children were going wearing with school bag and I enquired about it and came to know that they all are like me and they are getting school kit, uniform, school fee, Dinner, new clothes Etc freely, if join in CHHASE after school education.
Immediately I went to my parents and told them about this. But they refused to enroll me. But without informing my parents, I went after school education centre and ate dinner. Actuall it was very delicious and I ate belly full. I told to CHHASEstaff about my parents refusal to join me in CHHASE centre.
Slowly this matter spread to the director of CHHASE NGO and he personally visited and told my parents about the benefits of education. He promised my parents that he will look after all the expenses of my studies and provided a small job in land lord farm house for regular income. After this my parents stopped migration and I am continuing my education. CHHASE staff told me to pray for the wellbeing of my donor, who is helping for my studies. Thank you.
