Respected Donor,
Kuttiyamma, a brilliant and active poor and migrant tribal girl of 7th grade from a remote rural area. Kuttiyamma faced many challenges, because her mother is sick for many years and her father became addict to country liquor and left her alone without caring. She is under her grandfather’s (82 years) care. Nobody is willing to help them for her studies and feeding.
Kuttiyamma understood her role towards her future and clear about how to face the problems. she has not forgotten to smile, even in such a difficult situation,. Luckily, she got enrolled in our after school and she is getting school fee, school kit, clothing and feeding . she like our wy of teaching and She likes our meals very much and said "I like the nutritious vegetarian meal. It is tasty! And it gives energy" our hearts shocked to hear that the only food she eats at the after school is her tasty and wonderful food.
While talking about her dream, she said, "I am motivated to give treatment to my mother and want her to be cured. Like my mother, there are many poor mothes are sick without treatment and suffering without treatment. I aim to become docter and give free treatment to poor."
It is indeed a fact that food and the education are the primary promoters that brings her to the after school. We are really thankful to our donors who are changing the lives of hundreds of rural children like Kuttiyamma.
Want to make a difference in a rural student’s (like Kuttiyamma’s) life? You can start a monthly recurring donation for a small amount. The amount accumulated will be used against noon-meal, transportation and/or sponsorship of education of a rural girl child !
