Project Title: Home-Based Enterprise for Women with Disabilities

Summary of Achievements
In the past quarter, NDF Pakistan has made steady progress in empowering women with disabilities through home-based enterprises. The key focus has been on providing skill development, access to materials, and linkage with local markets to enable self-employment. Our motto, “Skilled labour never denies unemployment”, continues to be a driving force behind this initiative.
Key Activities Conducted
Vocational Skills Training (Phase 2 Completed)
25 women with disabilities trained in:
Stitching & embroidery
Handicrafts & traditional Sindhi art
Beadwork and jewelry making
Trainings conducted with adaptive tools and accessible learning environments
Provision of Enterprise Kits
20 enterprise kits distributed, each containing:
Sewing machine (manual/electric based on ability)
Raw materials (fabric, threads, beads)
Marketing material (business cards, packaging)
Awareness and Advocacy
Conducted 3 community sessions to raise awareness about inclusion and promote local purchasing of products made by women with disabilities
Partnered with two local influencers to promote products on social media
Sales and Market Linkage
Created 1 online catalogue of products
10 women generated income through custom orders in the last two months
