This spring was the first year we did not manage to start our free program for therapeutic riding for children with disabilities. The main reason was the lack of staff members that are usually volunteers to help in carrying out the sessions. We know that the lack of funding is a struggle not only for us but for many ventures. However, we will do everything to continue the program in the autumn. Until then we have time to gather the necessary funding.
BUT we did not give up to make an impact for people with special needs. From 24th until 27th of June our organization will host the European Youth Outdoor Festival – BACK TO NATURE - https://outdoorportal.eu/back-to-nature-european-outdoor-festival/ ! It is the first of its kind in Europe dedicated to outdoor activities and the benefits they bring to young people with disabilities, youth in risk, and young women. The 4 days Festival will happen in Bulgaria welcoming participants from different Italy, Estonia, Belgium, Croatia, and Lithuania. The Festival is part of the our project Youth Going Back to Nature – Engage, Connect, Empower, supported by the Erasmus+ program. We hope that this event is only the beginning of many like it to come in the near future.
We continue to gather the necessary funding to continue our annual program for free therapeutic riding for children with disabilities. The past 6 years of hard work have proven that anything is possible with supporters like you!
