Hostel for the tribal girls in India

We are very grateful for you help! We try to accumulate all the funds to make the life of tribal girls in India better. Unfortunately, the fundraising is going very slowly and it is difficult to gain the needed amount.

But the help is urgently needed, as tribal girsl meet a lot of problems in their future life and usually have no perspectives for the future. Thousands of tribal women and girls migrate from their hinterlands in tribal areas to urban city centers mainly in search of employment. They are new to the city life style and environment and find it difficult to make adjustment with the changed situation and environment. They have to face a number of problems in the cities they get migrated. Moreover, they are exploited both financially and sexually by the non-tribals in the cities. To protect them we want to give them good education and help them to be self aware and wise.

We are very grateful for all you have done for the tribal girls in India. It is very important for small children in rural areas to have a better start in the future. 

We have raised so far 1973 euro. It is a good beginning to start building a hostel for the tribal, very poor girls from interior and very far villages in Tripura state in the northeastern part of India. 

Now, the Pallottine sisters who work in the region can start to build a safe place for the girls. This is the first step to provide accommodation and in long - term perspective - to fulfill their dreams about education and good life.

They have a desire to be elegant and well-educated. The Pallottine sisters are there to help them to gain the aim. The social work with the tribal girls brings good effects you can see in the pictures. They like dancing and singing and socializing with others. Thanks to the Pallottine sisters they have a chance for it. Now, they meet outside, because there is no room for meetings. The total amount needed to finish the project is 9914 euri. So the 7941 euro is needed. We hope to fundraise the money and we are very grateful to you for your support.
