Dear Friend,
Your continued generosity is making a difference in the lives of young tribal girls in Tripura. These girls come from remote interior villages, where the dream of education is often overshadowed by poverty, lack of transport, and unsafe conditions. Thanks to your support, they are now finding a safe and nurturing space in our hostel that enables them to pursue education with dignity and hope.
Recent Progress
Over the past months, we have welcomed more girls into the hostel and ensured that they have a stable and supportive environment. Beyond simply providing a roof, the hostel has become a space of encouragement, where the girls share their stories, motivate each other, and discover the strength of community.
Our team is making sure that the girls’ daily needs are met:
Nutritious meals that give them the strength to focus on studies.
Guidance and mentoring to help them balance schoolwork and personal growth.
Safe living arrangements that protect them from long, dangerous walks to and from faraway villages.
Stories of Change
One of the girls, Rina (name changed for privacy), used to walk over two hours each way to reach her school. She often missed classes because of the journey or stayed home when it was unsafe to travel alone. Today, she lives in the hostel, attends classes regularly, and has become one of the top students in her grade. Her confidence has grown, and she dreams of becoming a teacher to serve her own village.

Creating small reading corners and spaces for creative expression to enrich learning beyond textbooks.
We believe that every educated girl becomes a catalyst of change for her family and her community. By supporting their education and well-being, you are helping to break cycles of poverty and open doors to a brighter future.
