We Cooked. They Cried... Let's Keep Going Together!

By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader

Dear Donor,

In the face of the deepening famine in Gaza — where families are boiling herbs to survive, and children are collapsing from hunger — your generosity has made a lasting impact.

Thanks to your support, just two days ago we were able to open a Takiya (charitable kitchen) in the devastated Zeitoun neighborhood of northern Gaza, where we served hot meals to dozens of displaced families.

Watch the video documenting the distribution:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5BTJGFglu8

In every plate served, there was warmth in the middle of the cold — a smile from a child who hadn’t tasted food in days.
But the meals ran out quickly.
And the need continues to grow — day after day.

The Takiya was just the beginning.
One neighborhood.
One single day.
But the famine is spreading in all directions.

Thanks to your donations:

  • Dozens of hot meals were prepared and distributed
  • Hungry children felt joy and relief
  • Dignity was preserved for families in a moment of hardship

Today, we turn to you again…

We need your support to open more kitchens.
We need it to keep cooking, keep giving, keep saving lives.

What you’re doing is not just charity — it’s a lifeline for those who have nothing.

Let’s give Gaza the mercy it deserves.

May Allah reward you for every bite you helped provide.
