A Warm Meal That Restored a Taste of Life to Raghd's Family

By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader

Dear Valued Donors,

Thanks to your generous humanitarian support, our teams were able to distribute hot meals of rice and meat to the family of child Raghd, who lives with her mother and her brother Hassan in Al-Zahraa Camp in northern Gaza, under extremely difficult living conditions and severe food shortages.

This meal marked a deeply meaningful moment for the family, as it was the first time in a long period that they were able to eat a meal containing meat. It was not only food that eased hunger, but a moment of dignity, care, and warmth that brought a sense of relief and hope into their difficult day.

Under the ongoing siege, soaring prices, and lack of basic resources, many families—especially those headed by mothers—are struggling to meet their most basic nutritional needs. Providing a balanced meal has become a daily challenge, particularly for children who bear the weight of these harsh circumstances through no fault of their own. Hot meal distributions are an urgent humanitarian response aimed at easing part of this burden and supporting the most vulnerable.

Your continued support makes these initiatives possible and allows us to reach families in greatest need, delivering assistance with compassion and respect.

We sincerely thank you for your trust and generosity. Together, we continue to bring hope, dignity, and nourishment to those who need it most.
