In Malham Orphans’ Camp in northern Syria, young orphaned child Waad lives with her mother under extremely difficult humanitarian conditions, where the family struggles daily to secure even the most basic necessities, especially food.
After losing the family breadwinner, Waad’s mother carries the full responsibility of caring for her family alone, amid limited resources and no steady income. With rising prices and scarce opportunities, providing a complete, nutritious meal is a daily challenge.
Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide hot meals of rice and meat for Waad and her mother. These meals were more than just food—they were a heartfelt gesture of compassion and solidarity, offering the family comfort, care, and a sense of being supported.
This initiative brought smiles to Waad’s face and gave her mother a rare moment of relief in a reality full of hardship. Your generosity creates tangible impact in the lives of orphans and reminds them that they are not forgotten.
