By transforming plastic waste into sturdy, eco-friendly classrooms complete with playgrounds and toilets, we're providing children with a space where learning feels safe and joyful once again.
For many families in rural Indonesia, education is a daily struggle. Schools are often unsafe, damaged, or far away. Some don't have toilets or basic learning materials, and others have no proper classrooms at all. When children learn in unsafe or uncomfortable spaces, they lose not only focus but also hope. Meanwhile, Indonesia is one of the world's most significant contributors to plastic waste, with most of it ending up in landfills or polluting the ocean.
Our solution is simple but powerful: we rebuild schools using recycled plastic blocks. Each school becomes a safe, child-friendly, and eco-sustainable space, complete with classrooms, playgrounds, and toilets. The plastic blocks are durable, low-carbon, and quick to assemble, removing up to two tons of waste per school. Beyond construction, we invest in people. For three years after each school is rebuilt, we work closely with communities to ensure the school remains inclusive and sustainable.
