Recently a group of Indigenous children from remote communities were invited to try their hand at painting donated surfboards in the Roper Gulf Shire and then have a go at stand up paddling for the first time, Stand up paddling is a great alternative on the clear croc free inland waters! Locally renowned artist, Wesley Willaker, conceived different water designs involving the children to add these to the donated boards. These display only boards will be auctioned off soon, watch this site for details.
