Cohort 6 Milestone
In 2022, a group of 46 bright students joined high school through the Watoto Wasome Scholarship Program under Affecto Foundation. Today, four years later, these same students are sitting for their final secondary school examinations, the KCSE.
Their journey has been nothing short of inspiring. For nearly 80% of them, this was the first opportunity in their families to join high school. Through resilience, hard work, and consistent support, they have not only grown academically but also become symbols of hope within their communities. As they take this important step toward their future, we are filled with pride and excitement. We look forward to walking with them as they transition into higher institutions of learning, continue to dream boldly, and work towards transforming their families and communities for the better.
This milestone is a shared victory, not just for Affecto Foundation, but also for GlobalGiving. Your support has made this journey possible, turning dreams into real, lasting change. We wish our Cohort 6 students great success in their exams and beyond. May their stories continue to inspire the next generation of dreamers and doers.
