Job Creation: Launch an African Business Centre

When we launched the idea of a Business Skills Centre, we saw something powerful on the horizon—a space where young people and women from underserved communities could access practical training, mentorship, and tools to create lasting income and independence.

We still believe in that vision. But for now, it’s on hold.

Over the past few months, we’ve raised just $150 towards this project. While we’re deeply grateful for every single donation, it’s clear we need to refocus on fundraising if we want to bring this idea to life. The reality is that without a strong foundation of financial support, we simply can't begin implementation in a meaningful or sustainable way.

So, for the next three months, we’ll be putting our energy into spreading the word—reaching out to potential supporters and sharing the stories behind why this centre matters so much. We’re hopeful that with renewed visibility, we can gain the momentum needed to kickstart the program.

If we’re unable to reach that point by the end of this push, we’ll make the difficult decision to redirect our efforts and resources to other community programs where need remains high and impact can still be delivered.

This isn’t the end—but it is a moment of honesty, and we believe our supporters deserve nothing less.
