Due to the recent escalation of hostilities and the displacement of people seeking refuge in northern Lebanon—specifically in Beddawi camp—Jafra is currently implementing a water trucking intervention to address the urgent needs of the affected population. The camp already suffers from significant water shortages, and this intervention is both timely and critical to ensuring access to safe water for the most vulnerable households.
The intervention is directly benefiting both displaced families and the host households accommodating them, helping to ease the pressure on already strained resources. By delivering safe and sufficient water, the initiative is contributing to improved hygiene, dignity, and overall well-being for all impacted residents.
Jafra is coordinating closely with community representatives, local committees, and other stakeholders to ensure equitable targeting and effective delivery. Operational details, including delivery schedules and beneficiary lists, are being carefully managed to ensure smooth and transparent implementation.
Jafra Foundation sincerely appreciates your continued support during this critical phase. Your engagement has been instrumental in driving this vital intervention forward, and we look forward to your ongoing involvement as we work together to a meaningful and lasting impact.
