The recent escalation of attacks on Lebanon has left huge number of families in distress, many of whom in Burj Barajneh camp have either refused to leave their homes out of fear of losing them, or have no alternative shelter to turn to. Trapped in unsafe conditions, these families are facing mounting humanitarian challenges with limited access to food, clean water, and basic necessities.
Among the most at risk are children, the elderly, and individuals with chronic health conditions, whose well-being is further jeopardized by food insecurity and lack of support.
In response, Jafra has launched an urgent intervention in Burj Barajneh camp, focusing on the distribution of freshly prepared hot meals to vulnerable families. This initiative aims to provide not only nutritional relief but also a sense of dignity and comfort to those enduring the hardship of conflict without safe shelter.
As the crisis continues to unfold, sustained humanitarian support remains vital. Jafra is committed to expanding its efforts in Burj Barajneh and beyond, ensuring that no family is left to face hunger and fear alone.
