The recent escalation of hostilities in southern Lebanon has forced many families to flee their homes in search of safety. A significant number of these displaced families have sought refuge in Nahr El Bared camp, where they are now living under difficult and overcrowded conditions, with limited access to food, clean water, and other basic necessities.
Displaced children, elderly individuals, and people living with chronic health conditions are particularly vulnerable, as prolonged displacement and food insecurity continue to negatively impact their health and overall well-being.
In response to these urgent needs, Jafra has launched an emergency intervention in Nahr El Bared camp, focusing on the provision of freshly prepared hot meals to displaced and vulnerable families. This intervention aims to address immediate nutritional needs while supporting the dignity and resilience of families affected by displacement.
As the crisis persists, sustained humanitarian assistance remains essential. Jafra is committed to continuing and expanding its response in Nahr El Bared camp and other hosting areas, ensuring that displaced families are not left to face hunger and uncertainty alone.
