Our kids are back to school full-time, our patients are receiving in-person care, and those far are taking advantage of our remote services developed during the pandemic. Happiness and relief are the predominant feelings in our community.
Today our families have access to a classroom-based psychoeducational program, diagnostic services, and therapies.
In addition, we continue offering three support services developed during the pandemic: AVA en Casa - Individual tailor-made home-based routines, activities, and intervention strategies. Autism support - Whatsapp Forums hosted by our specialists to address the needs and concerns of the autism community and two online introductory autism courses. Recreational afternoons - Three-hour sessions at our facilities, following safety protocols, led by our specialized teachers.
Coping with these past two years required creativity and resilience. We are very grateful to our donors, staff, families who made it possible. Their commitment to embrace unforeseen challenges and their flexibility to face uncertainty has been inspiring.
We are re-organizing and re-designing operational processes to improve the scope and quality of our traditional services and consolidating the newly developed. We aim to serve as many families as we did before the pandemic and ensure the organization's sustainability.
We THANK YOU for providing us the opportunity to continue offering effective, creative, and meaningful support for as many families coping with autism as possible. It is our privilege to count on your support and trust.
At Autismo en Voz Alta, we are committed to ensuring the wellbeing of our kids and patients. They are the driving and inspiring force. Serving them is an honor. Your kind donations make it possible.
With gratitude,
Marianella
