Dear supporters,

We hope that you and your family are in good health.

A heartfelt thank you from our side for your continued support, and for being there when we needed you the most. We are planning to close the project of sanitary pad distribution for some time as we fully want to focus on distributing daily cooked meal and ration kit as that is the need of the hour. As and when we receive more funds we will continue the project. Nevertheless we will continue supplying sanitary pads to 40 girls at our children’s home every month.

If you would still like to regularly engage in this Endeavour, we encourage you to support our other projects on globalgiving for a small amount, which will go a long way in giving a bright future to the beneficiary.

Sanitary pads for women

Dear supporters,

We hope that you and your family are in good health. The impact of COVID-19 has been a disaster on the health and education of children, both boys and girls. Many of the schoolgirls are forced to prioritize their other basic necessities over safe menstrual products, which has, even more, encouraged us to continue supplying hygiene kits to as many girls as possible.

While COVID-19 cases are increasing every day in Goa and have hampered our progress, it has not discouraged us or our wonderful donors from implementing our project. Our goal is to supply 40 girls at our children’s home with sanitary products every month, and we will continue to fundraise until we reach that goal. Besides this, we are also reaching out to women and girls from slum and poor communities in and around Mapusa, Margao, Calangute, Vasco, and Panjim supplying them with hygiene kits so that they can manage their monthly periods hygienically.

We are able to purchase hundreds of sanitary pad packets every month from the donation we receive from wonderful donors like you. We are also very grateful to the Lion's Club team who have been very consistent with their donation of sanitary pads every month. These have already been given out to our girls who were otherwise unable to access any form of sanitary products. The girls are grateful.

We acknowledge the fact that reaching out to poor and needy girls makes a substantial difference. We love the smiles that we bring to the faces of young girls. The funds you donated through GlobalGiving have been utilized to reach every girl under our care.

A heartfelt thank you from our side for your continued support and we humbly request you to share this opportunity with friends, family, and colleagues so that they can be part of this project by buying a girl sanitary kit for 1 year with a donation of $20 or more. Withstand Period Poverty During Pandemic

Dear Patrons,

Thank you for astonishing generosity and kindness! Your continuous and consistent dedication to support our organization truly gives me aspiration for the future.

This project is continuing to support women in marginalized and vulnerable communities to gain easy and impressive access to quality sanitary hygiene kits while the COVID pandemic continues to hinder access everywhere. The pandemic has not only affected the economies of the world, but individually too, most specially the children and the women.

It was such an honour to go out to the rural area to distribute sanitary hygiene kits to more than 700 women and girls in Goa from last 10 months. When they realized the real difference that this would make to their lives there were smiles all round. We are blessed that this has never been an issue in our lives. These girls will now be able to go to school every day of the month without any fear of discomfort.

Along with improvement in the lives of these girls, the lives of their families, their future families, and their entire society will improve. They will now take the lead in making sure that women and girls in their localities have the resources and knowledge to eradicate period poverty and feel empowered in making health-care decisions.

Nevertheless, 2020 has been tough, we were focused to our mission and move forward, willing to endure any hardship knowing that we will reach many more women and girls throughout Goa in 2021. Thank you for being part of our success!
