Project Goal:

To provide interest-free microloans, vocational training, and business support to help hundreds of families build sustainable livelihoods.

Achievements This Month:

• 28 Families Supported through interest-free microloans

  • Average loan size: $450

  • Focus sectors: stitching units, livestock rearing, grocery startups

• 12 Women Entrepreneurs Trained in:

  • Financial literacy

  • Product pricing and customer service

  • Digital payment platforms

• 3 Success Stories Collected (available upon request)

  • e.g., Ayesha Bibi in Faisalabad launched a home tailoring business and began earning a sustainable income.

• Community Engagement: Hosted one orientation session with 40+ community members to promote economic self-reliance.

Challenges

• Weather Disruption: Heavy rains in parts of Punjab caused delays in scheduled field visits.

• Inflation Impact: Rising costs of raw materials affected business startup plans; mitigation included adjusted disbursement timelines and supplementary training.

Plans for Next Month

• Disburse loans to 35 additional families

• Launch Phase II of the Women Entrepreneur Support Program

• Begin tracking long-term impact metrics: income growth, school attendance, savings habits

• Publish two new beneficiary videos on the GlobalGiving platform
