Mid last year we launched Libuyu building project. It started on a slow note but as we were approaching towards the end of the year we had a volunteer that was teaching at the same school who fell in love with school and wanted to help further. When she went back she advertised the project to her family and friends and raised over $19,000.
With the funds raised so far; we will be able to start the building project. Begining of March we will be having our ground breaking ceremony for the 1x2 classroom block then later build the 1x1 classroom block.
Once the classroom block is finished not only will it accomodate 80 more students but this will mean that the government under the Ministry of education will send qualified teachers at the school.
