Your donation has given three new classrooms to the community of Livingstone, Zambia!!!
The 11th of December saw one of the proudest moments to date for the African Impact Foundation. We hosted the opening ceremony with Libuyu Community School to celebrate the complettion of the three new classrooms which you made possible. These classrooms allow for more space and therefore encourages school attendance and attainment to children in Livingstone, supporting education at a higher level.
We had the District Education Board Secretary (DEBS), as our guest of honor opening the building. All other board officials were also in attendance and spoke so highly of the work AIF are doing for the education of Livingstone. We even had local media broadcasting our event on the news that evening.
The morning resulted in singing, poems and dancing of the teachers, children and community members - it was definitely a celebration to remember! When the project started a few months ago it seemed so surreal, and now it is a reality and has totally changed the future of Libuyu Community School. It will change the lives of so many children and families.
The African Impact Foundation is extremely proud and thankful to all its donors and supporters who have given joyfully and generously to such a worthy cause to the community. Without our donors we could not carry out any of our amazing work and would not have achieved the amazing building we have finally handed over.
What a way to start the new 2021 school year this month! Thank you for believing in the power of education and for taking action!
Happy New Year!
