In Cyaruzinge Village, eight new students were enrolled in shoe-making training. This program equips them with practical skills that can help them earn a living and support themselves in the future.
Participation and attendance in the training was very high, showing the students’ strong interest and commitment. Their dedication reflects how valuable this opportunity is for young people in the community.
The trainees have already started producing and selling shoes. They began with sandals that this young shoemaker proudly displays. This design is a good “first step” because although it requires skillful actios like cutting and sewing leather, it is relatively easy to learn. This early success not only motivates them to keep improving but also demonstrates the potential of the project to generate income and create sustainable livelihoods.
