As we move from fall into winter, we want to thank all of you for helping the neediest get the veterinary care that they need.
We just finished our 8th year of funding from the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA) Spay and Neuter Grants Program and have been awarded a 9th year, slated to start in January 2026. As you know, this grant funding helps us provide no-cost care for the owned cats and dogs of low-income families in Anne Arundel County. From the review committee:
"Your Project, requesting $32,000.00, was selected to be fully funded, based on the recommendations of the SNAB, and the approval of the Secretary of Agriculture. Your application was ranked #8 of 40 by the SNAB."
With this report, we are proud to announce that Rude Ranch Animal Rescue will be moving its clinic, Spay Spa & Neuter Nook, from its Davidsonville, MD location to a new Crofton, MD location.

If you would like to help us help more animals, and help the neediest of people - the ones who lack the resources to give their pets the care they need - please share our project with like-minded animal advocates on social media, email, or text. This is especially important right now, as Giving Tuesday approaches.

Erik
