Support Camp Lab's initiative to produce and distribute refugee-made hygiene supplies within Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. Donations fund the production of high-quality tissue products, crafted by refugee workers, then distributed to vulnerable children, families, schools, and other community programs within the camps. Every contribution creates dignified jobs for refugees while providing essential hygiene support to those who need it most, combining economic empowerment and relief.
More than 300 000 Palestinian refugee in the camps in Lebanon face high unemployment and economic exclusion and lack of basic services and rights. Families often depend on unstable aid and struggle to afford basic hygiene. Local skills remain underused, with youth and women lacking fair job opportunities. Without livelihoods and access to hygiene products, vulnerable families-especially children, women and the elderly-face health and dignity risks.
This project uses a dual-impact model: refugee workers produce high-quality tissue under fair, safe conditions that promote gender equality and inclusion. The products are distributed free to vulnerable children, families, and schools. Implemented through Camp Lab and supported by the Jafra Foundation for Relief and Youth Development, it creates jobs, strengthens the camp economy, provides essential hygiene, and reduces dependency on aid. Every donation supports both livelihoods and relief.
Our goal is to scale this model into a sustainable, refugee-led production ecosystem inside Palestinian camps in Lebanon-where humanitarian support and economic empowerment reinforce each other. By supporting this project, donors are not only helping families today, but contributing to a more resilient and self-sustaining community tomorrow.more than 100 volunteer will be working in this initiative beside 50,000 tissue back will be produced and distributed.
