Thanks to your generous contributions, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of our new initiative promoting digital inclusion in healthcare for communities living in remote and underserved areas of Egypt — with a special focus on women.
Your support is helping us make sure that everyone, regardless of where they live, can access the healthcare information, benefits, and rights they deserve.
Why This Matters?
Egypt is undergoing an inspiring digital transformation in healthcare, aiming to reach its population of nearly 100 million people — many of whom live along the Nile River, far from major hospitals and health centers.
A recent study in the International Journal of Telemedicine and Applications showed that while many Egyptians are aware of telemedicine tools, groups such as the unemployed, women with limited education, and individuals working long hours are often left behind.
That’s where our project comes in!
We believe that technology can only empower people when it’s accessible, understandable, and inclusive. By building digital skills and confidence, we can help thousands of women take charge of their own health and their families’ wellbeing.
Our New Initiative: Digital Health Inclusion for All
Starting in early 2026, our project will work hand in hand with 20 local NGOs in three key governorates:
Qena
Qalyubiyah
Beheira
These governorates will serve as regional hubs, reaching communities across Egypt.
Through:
Training of Trainers (TOT) workshops,
Institutional capacity-building, and
Provision of tablets and internet equipment,
We will empower 4,000 women with the digital literacy and health knowledge they need to access essential healthcare services.
Why Your Continued Support Matters
Digital inclusion is about more than technology — it’s about equity, dignity, and opportunity.
Your ongoing generosity helps ensure that women in rural areas can speak to doctors online, access trusted health information, and navigate the national health coverage system — safely and confidently.
We couldn’t have reached this point without you — and we’re just getting started.
Together, we can expand this movement and bridge Egypt’s digital health gap, one community at a time.
With heartfelt thanks,
The Project Team
