Introduction
In the rapidly growing tourist destinations of Mal Pais and Santa Teresa in Costa Rica, there is a significant need for bilingual and sustainable education. The swift expansion of these towns is outpacing the capacity of local schools, creating a critical shortage of high-quality education accessible to all children in these communities.
This project aims to address this issue by providing schools with high-quality educational resources, thereby enhancing their impact and reaching more children. However, it’s important to note that our efforts extend beyond education.
Donations play a crucial role in our operations, particularly in ensuring the well-being of the children we serve. These contributions are instrumental in providing meals for the children, ensuring they are not only educated but also well-nourished.
The need for this project is immense, and every bit of support helps us make a difference in these children’s lives.
Report
This initiative aims to uplift the local community’s economic and social status through enhanced education levels and expanded access to the tourist industry. This is a long-term project with the potential for significant impact.
A key part of our program is the provision of meals for the children, funded entirely by donations. These contributions not only feed the children but also provide them with an opportunity to learn valuable skills outside of the traditional curriculum, such as gardening.
Our ultimate goal is for the community to sustain the program independently, eliminating the need for external funding. This approach promotes sustainability and empowers residents to take more responsibility for their children’s education.
Thank you for your support. Your contributions are making a tangible difference in these children’s lives.
