Hi Supporters,
Can you believe this is our first update for 2024 and it is almost the end of February already!
Well we have been very busy kicking this year off, sadly it marked the end of one of our major donors and supporters as they closed for business therefore it marks a good time as a team to sit down and review savings and new ways of working. Lucky with your support we had some really generous donations come in over the end of 2023 and early this year and we have committed all these funds to purchasing food for our children.
We provide a fruit item for morning break, a hot meal at lunch and a snack in the afternoon with your donations for every student that comes to our school. This is often the only food they get as many live in extreme poverty and have parents that are working long hours or addicted to drugs and therefore neglect their children.
Our school is a safe place with a routine for these children and although we need to step up our game this year we are all very excited and positive.
