A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the Ethical Dolphin Tour Workshops and Conservation project in Zanzibar, Tanzania!
We are excited to report that in the last month four drivers graduated from the Ethical Dolphin Tour Workshops, started their new dolphin tours, and are receiving incredibly positive feedback from tourists! They completed five weeks of in-class lessons and two weeks of lessons in the ocean.
Every Monday and Thursday the boat drivers attend an English lesson which is beneficial for talking to tourists, booking tours, and sharing their conservation knowledge. We have two different classes for the drivers who are at different levels.
39 conservation club students recently took their module 3 test and will be going on a fieldtrip in the next few weeks to celebrate all those who passed!
We are looking forward to seeing the continued impact that this project has on the marine life, ocean, and community in Zanzibar!
