Thank you to all each donation towards the ethical dolphin tour workshops and conservation. Here is an update from the past few months:

Ethical Dolphin Tours

-          4 more boat drivers have completed their 5 modules of Ethical Dolphin Tour training, and will receive their certificate and graduate in the next few weeks.

-          All 4 drivers completed practical assessments to see how they would react to difficult scenarios when delivering their own ethical dolphin tour, including dealing with over 10 untrained boat drivers.  The improvement in their boat driving was fantastic, with all drivers demonstrating an ability to drive carefully, at a safe distance to ensure their interaction with the dolphins was sustainable

-          These boat drivers gives us a total of 8 trained drivers that are registered and recognised in Zanzibar as Sustainable Dolphin Tour Operators.  As a result, they can gain more business and encourage other boat drivers to complete the training

Conservation Club:

-          This term we have taught 75 students, and have completed 10 lessons within the topic of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.  The students have learnt have to take conservation into their own hands, with lessons on composting, recycling, global warming and renewable energy.

-          In two weeks time thanks to the funding we receive, we will be taking 25 students on a field trip to Creative Solutions, and organisation in Zanzibar.  They will take part in a creative recycling workshop, to learn how to recycle materials used in their daily lives and help clean up their village to create a healthier environment
