Dear friends,

We are thrilled to share some wonderful news: thanks to your support, we’ve reached our GlobalGiving campaign goal! Because of your generosity, thousands of healthcare professionals have received practical tools to take care of their own wellbeing—so they can continue caring for those who need them most. Since its creation in 2020, PIBSE Salud has reached more than 8,900 healthcare workers, educators, and health sciences students across Mexico.

PIBSE Salud is a pioneering initiative in the field of public health. To date, it remains the only universal prevention program designed to integrate healthy habits across the entire healthcare ecosystem. By design, it can be embedded into daily routines, structures, and processes of healthcare staff within public systems, providing a preventive approach to the everyday challenges they face.

What makes PIBSE Health especially innovative is its hybrid format, which leverages technology to ensure broad access. Zoom sessions can be delivered to groups of up to 1,000 participants at once while maintaining quality, and its mobile app can support unlimited users simultaneously.

Today, we’re celebrating two major milestones that demonstrate the impact and value of this program—achievements made possible by your support:

  • Scientific validation: The results of PIBSE Health’s first randomized controlled trial were published in the Journal of the American Medical Association – Internal Medicine (JAMA-IM), confirming its effectiveness. More than 2,300 healthcare workers from 729 health centers, hospitals, and 33 district offices in seven Mexican states participated. After just 12 weeks, the program showed clear results: reduced psychological distress and increased wellbeing.

  • Institutional adoption: Fundación Teletón has decided to implement PIBSE Health for its teams. Between June and September, 340 staff members across 25 CRIT centers, the HITO, Universidad Teletón, and Teletón’s corporate offices took part in a special edition, PIBSE Teletón, cultivating the program’s four pillars of wellbeing.

These achievements would not have been possible without your trust and continued support. Once again—thank you!

As new groups and institutions join PIBSE Health, the movement for preventive mental health and wellbeing among healthcare professionals in Mexico keeps growing stronger.

With renewed commitment, in the next few days we will be launching a new campaign for PIBSE Health, giving us the opportunity to expand its reach, sustainability, and impact even further.

We invite you to join us in this next stage of PIBSE Health—to keep caring for those who care.
