Take off and fly to wherever kids want to go

By K mom | case's mother

My child is what people call a slow-flying angel. When he was in my belly, my family found that he seemed to be fascinated by his own world. He liked to kick his feet high and greet people in his own unique way. Originally, I was looking forward to experiencing the privilege of being a mother through childbirth and feeling the contraction and squeezing of the unique and exclusive arrival of life. However, the reality was not as good as I had imagined. The labor was delayed and painful, and I couldn't help shaking all over. Considering the health and safety of mother and child, the doctor chose an emergency cesarean section. I lost a lot of blood during the process and my face was pale, which set off the blood-red cheeks of the child. I hugged my angel and shed tears of emotion.

As the child grew up, we slowly found that we seemed unable to enter his world. Other children gradually stood up and walked, but our child was still spinning and falling with an expressionless face. The doctor recommended that the child start a series of treatments. The caring guidance from the An'an Association marked the beginning of our indissoluble bond with the An'an Association. We look forward to our child's smooth integration into the big family of society in the future. We hope that he, who has less coordinated limbs, can learn to skate step by step from inline skating practice, and even take off and fly to any place he wants to go in the future.

The An'an Association and we continue to accompany the child, although the child is shy and afraid of strangers. From the beginning, he desperately resisted and refused to cooperate. After facing the fall, he learned to stand up by himself. We feel infinitely grateful and take off to fly to any place the child wants to go. We shared the joy with our inline skating partners’ parents and Zhaoyi teachers, enthusiastically applauded our inline skating partners for their continuous hard work and the medals they won, looked forward to flying together with our inline skating partners wearing inline skating wheels, and made an appointment to meet next time and enjoy inline skating again. We carried our equipment, followed the coach’s instructions to warm up and close the exercises, picked up each other’s corner markers, lined up one by one, followed the rules, and took turns waiting for the next ride against the wind and the next mysterious little gift. The sweaty children grew healthy and strong with us.

We are grateful to the An'an Association and parents for their selfless companionship and dedication, and for their dedicated efforts and thoughtful planning of various activities, which allow children to live happily and freely in a warm, understanding, tolerant and friendly environment. Because of the support and encouragement of the An An Association, we have the opportunity to be redeemed from the inequality and misunderstanding we once suffered. The love of the An An Association has enabled us to gradually grow muscle and strength, to look directly at the imperfections of the real world, to learn to let go, and not keep them in our hearts, because the warm whirlwinds raised by inline skating have already filled each other's hearts.
