On Friday, 5 December 2025, the Ncinci Ones celebrated the Graduation of 5 of the Ncinci Ones. They are all going to Grade 1 at Mdedeleni Junior Secondary School, the local government school. The children are well prepared for Grade 1 and they all have the necessary skills required, for an easy transition.
2026 started well for Ncinci Ones Montessori and the new children's intake, was staggered - giving the children time to settle into their new environment. We are currently accommodating 34 young, rural Xhosa children. The first term is all about ground rules and grace and courtesies, which are the foundations for the prepared environments.
The children have settled in well and the "old" children are very busy showing the "new" children how to carry trays properly, roll mats and brush their teeth. A happy, busy environment :-)
We have heard that there is a chance that we might get municipal water at Hole in the Wall this year, we are keeping our fingers crossed.
