Dear friends:
We work hard so that our children and young people with cancer, whom we care for every day, are guaranteed their chemotherapies in a timely manner, which is why we believe that great and valuable friends of this cause like you will continue to support us to achieve our objectives, which are mainly:
Guarantee free transportation so that they can be transported from their communities to the city where the hospital is located where they receive their treatment on the day they are scheduled for their chemotherapy and consultations.
Provide what is necessary during the trip so that they can be transported comfortably.
Return them home after their treatment, so they can carry out their daily activities, which requires several hours on the road.
Each contribution counts a lot because it allows us to continue ADDING MILES OF LOVE AND HOPE

Itza is a girl who, like other children, is being transported by Manos Unidas through Coatzacoalcos AC, whose town in her case is Nuevo Teapa, southeast of the city of Coatzacoalcos in the state of Veracruz (Mexico), she is very happy and loves She likes to pose for our camera, she arrives from her locality and depending on her treatment, she receives chemotherapy or a check-up and other clinical procedures for which during the waiting time she plays with some educational game or goes to the psychologist's office who also has games and videos or talk with her parents or with her about her well-being.
In the city of Coatzacoalcos they are treated at the Dr Valentín Gómez Farías Regional Hospital or at the Social Security Clinic, now Hospital Bienestar (when their father or mother is affiliated with this Clinic), when they are not affiliated with Social Security, then their treatment is performed at the Regional Hospital. Every time she is summoned, the Manos Unidas vehicle in Coatzacoalcos picks up her and her mother to her house in the countryside.
Thanks to your contribution she can continue receiving her treatment in this city since our association can continue providing free transportation service for her and for other children and young people with cancer.

Project of month
By Maritza Ambrosio Fernandez | Project Leader

Hello friends, in this report I share with you some photos of our children and young people with cancer whom we transport for free in our mobile unit. As you know, this unit is being paid for every month, at the same time we pay for its insurance as well as the gasoline, its services at the agency.
We provide service from Monday to Friday, during which we take the patient and a parent to their hospital, wait for them, and take them back to their community.
We took a brief break due to the lack of donations for a few weeks since maintenance is expensive for our association Manos Unidas por Coatzacoalcos AC but thanks to GlobalGiving we are back here today and for our patients since we were association of the month of September!!!
Which was made possible thanks to your recurring donations.
Thank you so much
