Transportation: A Vital Lifeline for Children Receiving Cancer Treatment
At Manos Unidas por Coatzacoalcos A.C., one of the most critical elements that ensures children and adolescents with cancer can access their treatments is our institutional vehicle.
This vehicle is not just a mode of transportation — it is the lifeline that allows patients to reach their chemotherapy sessions safely, on time, and without adding financial strain to families already facing overwhelming challenges.
For many families living anywhere from 18 km to more than 200 km away from the hospital, our vehicle is the only safe, consistent, and reliable way to arrive to their treatments. Every trip represents the difference between receiving chemotherapy on time or missing a crucial day.
Why Our Vehicle Is Essential to Our Daily Operations
Our organization depends heavily on keeping this vehicle in excellent working condition.
Its use is not occasional — it is a permanent operational resource, running continuously Monday through Friday, and even on some weekends during emergencies or urgent cases.
Unlike other organizations that rely on borrowed or sporadic transportation, Manos Unidas por Coatzacoalcos A.C. operates with its own vehicle, which guarantees:
Punctual and reliable transportation
Safe and supportive travel for patients
Personalized attention during each trip
A comfortable, climate-controlled environment for children
This vehicle is, quite literally, the moving heart of our mission.
To every individual, company, and ally who helps keep our vehicle on the road, we extend our deepest gratitude.
Thank you for believing in our mission, for understanding that every journey matters, and for allowing us to continue offering a safe, dignified, and essential service for our children and young patients.
We truly hope to continue counting on your invaluable support — because every kilometer traveled brings a child closer to healing, hope, and a brighter future.
