You've Made 200 Smiles Today

By Daniel Sitarenios | Operations Manager

Dear Supporters,

COVID -19 is having a huge effect on families that live every day on the poverty line. With limited funds to survive have decreased or even stopped in some cases people are struggling to survive. Girls in Africa continue to suffer due to something as small as lack of adequate intimate sanitation, a household product which is cut due to this time of extreme poverty. Consequently, girls are experiencing high levels of stigma and can not perform basic tasks during this challenging time, which maintains the high levels of gender inequality.

In Zimbabwe this is a huge problem and with your support of donations we have been working with our project and local partner in Zimbabwe to fund 200 sanitary packs that have been handed out to the girls and women that are on our project. These 200 packs have been fully funded by your donations and have been a huge benefit to the girls in the community. Our project has a long way to go to get through the otherside of COVID but with your continued support we are confident we can do it together. The support from the Zimbabwe government has been minimal and your donations are what is keeping our community surviving so from everyone here we want to say a massive thank you!

Thank you for your donations!
