Dear donor,
We want to wish you the happiest of holidays this month! 2025 was a special year for us because of your very appreciated help, as always.
Now that we are closing the year, we’d like to tell you about the Empty Bowls event. This partnered celebration is carried out thanks to the generous support of the American School Foundation of Guadalajara (ASFG). Taking place more than 10 years ago, ASFG aims to raise funds to end child hunger in the Sierra Wixárika through the work of ONI, connecting students to social impact projects that transcend.
The concept of Empty Bowls revolves around the idea of ceramic pieces representing a once empty bowl that now can be filled. Whether they be incense holders, plant pots or living room decor, kids pour their hearts and effort in the making of these colorful pieces, selling them later during the afternoon and donating the profits to the fight against child malnutrition in Mexico’s most disadvantaged communities.
We kindly thank ASFG’s support and yours for staying by our side all year long!
