Meet Veronica a bright 20 year-old student in her final year at Mateete Comprehensive Seed Secondary School. This November, she’ll be sitting for her final exams with big dreams of joining college next year to pursue a degree in Journalism.
Her love for literature, poetry, music, and dance shines through both in and outside the classroom. Teachers describe her as one of the most hardworking and sociable students in the school a true inspiration to her peers.
Veronica joined the Cosma Sponsorship Program after losing her grandmother, who had been her caregiver following the passing of both her parents three years earlier. When asked how she felt upon being accepted into the program, she smiled and said,
“It felt amazing to receive the helping hand from Cosma.”
Today, Veronica is one of two Cosma students completing high school and preparing to take the next step toward college. Her determination and resilience remind us why sponsorship truly changes lives.
Let’s all join in wishing Veronica great success in her upcoming exams and in her journey to becoming a journalist!
A heartfelt thank you to everyone supporting children like Veronica. Your generosity makes stories like hers possible. Please continue to share our stories and inspire others to join hands in giving hope and opportunity.
