A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the Nursery Education and Empowerment Fund in Zanzibar, Tanzania!
Since our last report, our African Impact volunteers and nursery schools took part in another week of learning the importance of brushing their teeth and washing their hands. It was a successful and fun filled week, and in total we washed and brushed over 300 nursery school children’s teeth and hands!
Some of the teachers at one of our nursery schools asked if we could hold computer classes for them. Our enthusiastic volunteers lead a week of sessions and we are looking forward to continuing them to help the teachers be able to access tools and resources that will allow them to expand their knowledge and better prepare for lessons and activities.
We are currently preparing for a big road safety week in our nursery schools. We have learnt about different modes of transport and the children loved designing them. Next week we will be learning to cross the road safely!
We are looking forward to seeing the continued impact that this education project has on the children and community in Zanzibar!
Thank you again for making this possible.
