Nyaka is honored to announce that our Founder and CEO, Twesigye Jackson Kaguri, will be presenting at the Clinton Global Initiative this year. During this prestigious gathering, Jackson will share Nyaka’s bold commitment to expand the Grandmother Program to reach tens of thousands more grandmothers across Uganda over the next several years. This expansion will provide women with the resources, skills, and financial tools they need to support their families and strengthen their communities, ensuring lasting impact for generations to come.
We are also thrilled to share that Nyaka will participate in the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon on November 2nd with a team of 21 dedicated runners. Each runner raises big funds that will support our Grandmother Program, helping to provide financial literacy training, microloans, and sustainable income opportunities for grandmothers in Uganda who are raising orphaned and vulnerable children. Through this effort, our marathon team is uniting fitness, community, and philanthropy to uplift the women who are the backbone of their communities.
