We are so excited to share a new opportunity for the 52 children in our educare program. Most of them live near the beach but have never stepped onto the sand or seen the ocean up close. Last month we introduced an educational video about sea life and have been reading books about whales and penguins. The children are full of questions and curiosity, and we want to bring this learning to life with a trip to the local aquarium.
To make this possible, we need to raise $500 for a safe, properly registered school bus and $300 to cover entrance fees and food for the children. This would be the first field trip for our educare kids in four years, and it would be amazing to run it before the end of 2025. If we don’t reach the target in time, we plan to include it as part of the welcome-back field trip in 2026.
Your support will help these children experience the ocean in a whole new way, inspire their curiosity about marine life, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Every contribution brings us closer to this exciting day.
