Project Report | Jun 30, 2025
A Wet n Wild Battle

By Tyrone | CEO

Since launching our Ocean Save initiative, we’ve raised just over $2,000. That may not sound like much in the world of ocean conservation—but we want you to know that every dollar has gone straight into fighting one of the biggest threats to our marine ecosystems: illegal and destructive fishing.

From day one, we knew this wouldn’t be easy. Illegal fishing is often hidden, unregulated, and devastating to coastal communities and biodiversity. It doesn’t make headlines—but it is silently wiping out entire ecosystems. And because of your support, we’ve been able to start shining a light in those dark waters.

Despite our limited resources, our team has been on the ground—coordinating patrols with local communities, gathering critical evidence, and documenting harmful practices that otherwise go unnoticed. We’ve conducted interviews with small-scale fishers who have lost their livelihoods to industrial trawlers that fish illegally, sometimes just meters from shore. We’ve worked with schools to raise awareness in the next generation about why ocean stewardship matters. And we’ve even supported early discussions around a citizen-led reporting system for illegal activity in one of our most vulnerable marine zones.

The truth? Most of this work has been done unpaid, after hours, by a small group of people who care far too much to walk away.

But we can't sustain this forever on passion alone.

Illegal fishing continues daily. Every week we get new reports. Without proper enforcement or visibility, it will continue to rob our oceans of life and strip communities of food security and economic hope. We know what to do—but we need more resources to do it.

That’s why we’re asking you to stand with us again. Your donation today can help fund monitoring equipment, support local whistleblowers, and grow our grassroots ocean defense work. Every dollar helps us push back against systems that profit from silence and inaction.

Thank you for believing in this project and for being part of a movement that refuses to let our oceans be emptied without a fight.
