When 12-year-old A. tried on her new winter jacket, she didn’t just feel the warmth—she felt like a doctor.
A. lives in a neighbourhood in Aleppo where the cold is relentless and heating costs are simply out of reach for her family. She wants to heal the poor in her community, but it's hard to study when you're cold.
Thanks to your support, A. is warm today.
Thanks to your generosity, we have successfully distributed 200 high-quality coats to vulnerable children across Aleppo. Even better? By partnering with a local producer for €22 per jacket, your donation also supported local shops and provided enough extra funds for matching gloves and scarves.
The Impact Beyond Today These aren't just one-season garments. In Aleppo, a good jacket is a family treasure, passed down to younger siblings to keep them safe for years to come.
But winter isn't over yet. We have more children on our waiting list—kids like J., who just returned to school after six years away, and T., who is bravely recovering from the trauma of the 2023 earthquake. They are still waiting for that same warmth.
Can you help us reach the next 50 children? A one-time gift helps today, but a monthly donation ensures that no child in our community has to face the Syrian winter alone.
With gratitude,
The Crete For Life Team
