Al-Mustafa Welfare Society aims to deliver high-quality dental care and awareness to less privileged areas and impoverished populations in Pakistan. Under this project, we have reached equal to or more than a million patients under the flag of "Oral Health=Overall Health" all over PAKISTAN and Kashmir. Providing free and subsidised treatments and awareness at our clinics, hospitals and via dental camps, effectively reaching far-flung communities with a highly sophisticated mobile dental unit.
The majority of the adult population in Pakistan and more than half the child population has dental decay; over 80% of the people over 45 years of age have periodontal disease, and more than 20% of the population over 60 is edentulous (means all teeth are missing). Unfortunately, Pakistan has one of the highest rates of oral cancer globally. A significant chunk of the lower class is affected by bottlenecks as dentistry is seen as a luxury worldwide, and hence it is not accessible to most people.
Oral health inefficiencies should be treated similarly to a health crisis. Al-Mustafa's web of healthcare projects across Pakistan (including hospitals, clinics and free dental camps in far-off communities with a mobile dental unit) provides extremely low-cost and free dental treatments for everyone. The treatments include scaling, ART fillings, Root Canal Treatment, Extractions, Prostheses, etc. We also strive to educate people regarding basic oral hygiene practices.
Al-Mustafa aims to establish a network of pure dental hospitals across major cities and rural villages, offering free or discounted essential dental treatments. These clinics and hospitals will uphold our unwavering commitment to community service, ensuring sustainable, long-term care for those in need.
