Organic food is safe for health awareness

Organic foods often have more beneficial nutrients, such as antioxidants, than their conventionally-grown counterparts and people with allergies to foods, chemicals, or preservatives often find their symptoms lessen or go away when they eat only organic foods. It is easily digestable. Precaution is better than cure !!

You may wonder, why organic food in costlier? Organic food is more labor intensive since the farmers do not use pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or drugs. Organic certification is expensive and organic feed for animals can cost twice as much. Organic farms tend to be smaller than conventional farms, which means fixed costs and overhead must be distributed across smaller produce volumes without government subsidies.

Organic food is not only healthier because it does not contain residues of any synthetic chemicals but also due to the fact that it is more nutritious. The conventional farmers claim that their fruits and vegetables contain equal amounts of nutrients and many studies confirm their claims. However, they often forget to mention that the nutritional value of a freshly harvested apple, for instance, is significantly higher than that of an apple that has been offered for days or even weeks. This is due to the fact that nutritional value of fruits and vegetables begins to drop almost immediately after being harvested. 

One benefit of organic food is that it is pesticide free, which is definitely better for the environment.

Thank you for your generous contributions towards Organic food awareness program through esteemed organization GlobalGiving.

We strive to bring awareness to children, farmers, SHG members to create a safe food practice for our future generations. When we eat organic food, it gives healthy, disease resistance to our body. In our awareness programs, we are distributing vegetable seeds to start kitchen gardens, which will reduce the cost of purchase of vegetables and give them a healthy environment. 

'Organic food is the product of a farming system which avoids the use of man-made fertilisers, pesticides; growth regulators and livestock feed additives.  

Organically grown foods have more nutrients,vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and micronutrients than commercially grown foods because the soil is managed and nourished with sustainable practices by responsible standards, rather than commercially grown foods. Generally, organically grown foods simply taste better due to their well-balanced soil.

While we buy, we must ensure the undermentioned items are organic farmed food:-

• Fruits and Vegetables, including Mushrooms.
• Grains.
• Legumes.
• Nuts and Seeds.
• Dairy Products and Eggs.
• Livestock Feed.
• Meats and Poultry, 

Your support enabled us to create awareness to 500 Farmers, SHG members and children about the importance of organic food and how to follow organic farming.We want to reach to 500 farmers in next 2 months, how to produce organic food and the importance about it.

Precaution is better than cure.
