Organic food is safe for health awareness

Apart from organic farming, CHHASE is now creating awareness to start small farms for raring goats, country chicken farms to get extra income. The farmers can sell country chicken Eggs as well as country chicken meat and can earn extra income. Last five years, we have given awareness to 5000 farmers, especially women about country chicken farm.  

Your support enable us to create various types of awareness camps to give knowledge to start various farming systems. 

One of our beneficiary said "My name is Kavitha, age 42 years. My husband is doing organic farming in one and half Acre of  land. four months back, i have attended CHHASE NGO Chicken farm awareness and i was interested to start the business. As we were having a shed, we have put a fencing around it for chickens. with the help of CHHASE NGO, we brought 150 chickens, 6 turkeys. These chickens are laying eggs now. Since country chicken eggs value high comparing to broiler eggs, i get a good return and good income. Thanks to CHHASE NGO and to the donor who support the awareness camps."

We are giving awareness about planting fruit trees and raising vegetable garden and we ask our beneficiaries to strictly adopt organic farming. Some of Beneficiaries are already cultivated fruit trees and now they are earning good returns. But we may get low yield, the organic fruits and vegetables are sold for high rate.
